2012 Mercedes E-class

The Mercedes-Benz E-class (Mercedes Benz E-class) is one of the most famous cars of the German company Mercedes-Benz. Although the designationExactivklasse (business class) was introduced in 1993, the history of the predecessors of the E-class is the history of the entire brand, since up to 1982, they were the most popular cars.

Traditionally, the E-Class was produced as a sedan, but, since 1969, a coupe was added to the range, since 1978 - a station wagon, and since 1992 - a convertible (although special cars based on the E-Class have always been produced). In the period 1997-2008 coupe and convertible were absent, produced CLK-class based on the bodies of the smaller C-Class, but externally stylized as the E-Class. In addition to the W212 and S212 sedan and station wagon, the current generation of the E-Class has brought back coupe and convertible versions (C207 and A207). Starting in 2010, Mercedes-Benz decided to resume production of convertibles based on the E-Class.^[1]
