The Mercedes-Benz W222 is the sixth generation of the flagship S-Class range of the German Mercedes-Benz brand, which has been in production since 2013. Came to replace the model W221. The design was developed by Robert Lesnik. The car was presented on May 15, 2013 in Hamburg.
It is available as a sedan (with a shortened and extended wheelbase), a coupe, and a convertible (since 2015). In addition, it has modifications from the Mercedes-AMG division in the form of the S63 AMG and S65 AMG (both available as a sedan, coupe and convertible), as well as the most luxurious limousine version - Pullman, assembled at Mercedes-Maybach.
A restyling is expected in 2016, which will bring changes to the appearance of the car.
